The solar panels can be applied on top of your existing roof tiles or if you are having a new roof, integrated panels can be installed which follow the roof line giving a more aesthetic appearance.

Why solar panels?
Solar panels are becoming increasingly popular in Britain, even in our climate. The cells don’t need direct sunlight to work and can even work on cloudy days. However, the stronger the sunshine, the more electricity generated.
Typical systems contain around 10 panels and generate around 3.5kW of energy in strong sunlight. An inverter is installed to convert the electricity generated to alternating current to be used throughout the home. A battery system can also be installed so you can store the electricity and use it at night. In addition, any excess electricity generated can be sold to the grid.
Panels can be installed on top of existing roof tiles or, if you are considering a new roof, can be integrated within the tiles for a more aesthetic appearance.
